Welcome back to school! I hope you all had a restful and blessed Christmas/New Year Holiday!
We are busy in 3rd Grade. We have begun our journey into Multiplication and the students love it!
We will be spending quite some time on this because it is so important to their mathematics future.
In Language Arts the children are progressing so well! Mrs. Malouf even commented at the end of our 3rd Grade Assembly this week how well each student is reading now! They have been busy reading books and taking A/R tests. The students each completed their first Venn Diagram and had fun doing it. We've played a little with homophones, palindromes and will be touching on idioms tomorrow. I'm thrilled that they are enjoying these word challenges/puzzles. I'm thrilled to hear some of them saying that learning is fun!
I've been trying to find out a date for our 1st Communion but have been unsuccessful so far due to the simpe fact that we are all working on a day-to-day Covid schedule. Please know that when I learn of the date for 1st Communion I will let you all know!
I want to thank all of you for supporting me in my efforts to make this year a successful one in spite of Covid. I appreciate that you copy documents that we need in class, follow up with your child to make sure work is done and submitted and for making sure devices are up and running daily. It is a challenge, but, together, we're making it work!
Please text me through REMIND or send me an e-mail (pkluge@sbdiocese.org) if you have any questions or concerns.
Blessings,
Mrs. Kluge
