We have had some security issues with Zoom. As a result, teachers are following stricter guidelines to ensure that all interaction is appropriate. The following measures are going into effect today:
● All participants will be held in a “waiting room” before the host admits the participant. If the name of the participant is not recognizable (a student or parent name), the participant will not be admitted.
● All participants must use their proper name and not change during the meeting
● Participants must be in the class on time. Meeting will be locked after five minutes and additional participants will not be admitted.
● Meeting ID and passwords will go out through Remind only.
● Meeting ID and passwords are not to be shared with anyone outside of the class.
● Students will lose their ability to participate in Zoom classes if this happens.
● Classes will be recorded to ensure student behavior is appropriate.
● Students will be removed from the lesson if they are not behaving appropriately.
